2. Sunset Lighthouse Walk

A trek to the Cape Byron Lighthouse is one of the top activities in the region. The views from the iconic landmark are breathtaking.

You can access the trail at The Pass, next to Clarkes Beach. It will take you through lush rainforest with several viewing platforms along the way to scan the water for surfers and marine life.

And from June to October you may catch a glimpse of humpback whales on their migration route.

The lighthouse is a popular spot for photographers wanting to catch the gorgeous pink and peach tones of a Byron sunset.

Head down to Beach Byron Bay for the perfect finish to this date idea. Enjoy their fresh seafood and seasonal eats while overlooking Clarkes Beach.

3. Crack Macadamias at The Farm

The Farm is a fantastic Byron date destination offering up great food, local produce, and picturesque surroundings.

During macadamia harvest season (between March and September), you can take a romantic walk around the orchid and try your hand at nut cracking.

Tree stumps and rocks have been placed around the grounds so you can crack your own harvest and enjoy fresh produce at its finest.

And if you’re feeling super loved up, pick up a gorgeous bouquet of flowers at Poppy and Fern, the on-site florist.

4. Snorkelling Tour at Julian Rocks

Impress your date with a trip to one of the best snorkelling destinations in Australia.

The Julian Rocks Marine Sanctuary, or “Nguthungulli” in the local Arakwal dialect, provides a marine life hot spot that’s popular with diving and snorkelling enthusiasts.

The area is well known for a dizzying array of wildlife, such as tropical fish, turtles, dolphins, and even whales, depending on the time of year.

Warm tropical waters and cooler flows converge to create this protected natural wonder.
